  • Once you have rid yourself of the tangible things that hold you back, you need to rid yourself of the intangible things that hold you back, like over-full schedules and chaos.

  • Forget the stereotypes that busy=important or busy= successful.

  • Let other people worry about their busy lives and you find a rhythm and routine that works for you and your family.

  • Redefine what success is and what it looks like for you. Make sure you are happy with your own existence.

  • Be efficient: Stop doing things the same way, just because you’ve always done then that way. Ask yourself if you could streamline or simplify tasks. 

  • Opt out - the power of saying ‘no’: Saying no to be proactive- not reactive.

  • Set your values and goals: If tasks don't align with these then ask yourself why you’re really doing them

  • Forget perfection: Often near enough is good enough. 

  • Let go of needless drama: Don't subscribe to people or situations that create drama and chaos in your life where you don't need it. 

  • Clear the clutter: The less you have in your house, mind, schedule- the less you have to organise.
